My dear friend Alyona came over today and introduced me to some Russian songs... Oh bozhe, I love all things Russian!!! I couldn´t make up my mind about my favorite song of the bunch, so I bring you two, both by the same singer: Mihej. I love his voice and the melody of his songs. The mix of sad voice and somewhat happy beat is great.  Do you guys agree?

My querida amiga Alyona vino a visitarme hoy y, entre otras cosas, me mostró cantidad de canciones rusas. A mí me ENCANTA todo lo ruso!!! Por eso me fue difícil escoger una canción preferida, pero aquí les traigo DOS del mismo cantante: Mihej. Su voz me encanta y la melodía de las canciones también. La mezcla de una voz triste y un ritmo medio alegre me parece fantástica. Están de acuerdo???

Gothenburg is famous for its raining. The locals always complain about it. I won´t say I love it when it rains here, especially since I don´t even own an umbrella or rainboots, but I don´t really hate it... I think its better than snowing :D Anyways, a few weeks ago, I couldn´t get this song out of my mind... Not because I hate rainy days, but because the song is just GREAT! Don´t you agree?

No voy a decir que me encanta la lluvia, sobre todo cuando ni siquiera tengo sombrilla o capa (hace pocos días que finalmente me compré unas botas para la lluvia!), pero tampoco la aborrezco. Al menos es mejor que la nieve! :D De todas maneras, hace unas semanas no podía sacarme esta canción de la mente, no porque odie la lluvia, sino porque la canción es magnífica. No creen?

Man Down

Just yesterday this video caused a stir in my Facebook wall about people discussing the moral and implications of the video, like the message it conveys etc. Do you think the video/lyrics spread the message that it´s ok to kill someone, or take the justice by your hands? I don´t think it does it intentionally. I think the video can have different readings and some people may interpret different things. What´s your opinion? Thanks!!!

Eurovision 2011 III

So Sweden ended up in the third place at the Eurovision song contest! Last year ¨we¨ didnt even make it to the finals, but this year we were one of the favorite. To be honest, at first, I didnt like the song and thought the lyrics sucked. However, after having seen the performance on stage, I realized its a very fun song and it makes for a great show. It also helps that the singer, Eric Saade, is a cutie! Do you agree? :D

Suecia quedó en tercer lugar en el concurso de Eurovisión 2011. El anno pasado ni siquiera llegamos a la final, pero este anno éramos uno de los favoritos. Para ser sincera, al principio no me gustaba para nada la canción, ya que pensaba que la letra era muy simple y tonta. PERO cuando la presentación en vivo sobre el escenario, me di cuenta de que es un temita muy contagioso y un gran show. Tampoco me molesta que el cantante, Eric Saade, sea un lindito! No te parece? :)

For the last days I have been calling clients around Spain, and there was this client who had a GREAT hold in line song. I managed to write down a few words from the lyrics. This is what I got: ¨Open ur heart youll see what love can do look at the sky its the king of magic¨. Something like that. Unfortunately, the client picked the phone fast this time :( I´d rather he didn´t pick :)  Anyways, I googled the lyrics and I found this video, which is veryyy similar in content and melody, but it quite isn´t it. But maybe it still is a Jason Mraz song? Can you help me search?!!! Thanks!!!

Estos últimos días he estado llamando a clientes en Espanna, y hay un cliente que tiene una cancioncita de espera MARAVILLOSA. Traté de escribir la letra, y lo que logré captar es: ¨Open ur heart youll see what love can do look at the sky its the king of magic¨, o algo por el estilo. Buscando en Internet me encontré esta canción que se le parece muchísimo en letra y melodía, pero no es la misma. Quizás la canción que busco sea de este mismo cantante Jason Mraz? Me ayudas a encontrarla???? Gracias!!!

Eurovision 2011 II

As I said before Azerbaijan won Eurovision 2011. Italy ended up in second place with the beautiful song Follia d´Amore. Here is their song. Do you like it? Last Saturday was the Eurovision song contest finale. The winning country was Azerbaijan with the song Running Scared. I think there were many nice songs this year, but Azerbaijan´s song was nice too. So kuddos to them! Italy ended up in the second place and Sweden in third. Here is the winning song. Enjoy!

Updates / Puesta al día

I´ve been wanting to post new pics but my laptop crashed some days ago and I still have to install all the programs and stuff. I even lost all my documents, though my boyfriend says he had backed up my previous pics. If he says so...

Anyways, once again I went to Spinning class today. The trainer was a tyran. I almost passed out. Of course, no one forces you to train as hard as you can, but the trainer´s guidance is crucial in how much or how little you push yourself, and this man was just too much! :)

Desde hace rato quiero poner nuevas fotos, pero es que mi laptop se rompió hace varios días y aún no he instalado los programas necesarios para subir fotos. De hecho, perdí todos mis documents, aunque mi novio dice que había guardado mis fotos con anterioridad. Si él lo dice...

Hoy fui de nuevo al gimnasio, a clases de bicicleta. El entrenador era un tirano!!! Por poco me desmayo! Claro que nadie te obliga a esforzarte al máximo, pero el aliento del entrenador es crucial en cómo entrenas, y este hombre era mucho con demasiado!!!
