Smiling Girl / Chica sonriente

Today in the Spinning class the trainer asked me if I was feeling good, because I normally smile in class, but today I wasn´t. Really?!!! I hadn´t noticed that I smile while biking! I always thought I had a sweaty tortured face, but if he says so... :) Of course, what gave away that I wasn´t feeling alright wasn´t my lack of smiling but the fact that I left the room when the class was half-way through.

Pop Boutique

Pop Boutique is located on Magasinsgatan (Shop Street), and it´s a vintage shop. They have lots of vintage clothes for both women and men, but new clothes as well.

They also sell accessories and ornaments for the home. The place is very spacious and it even has some comfortable sofas that make you feel as if you are in your home :)

Ps: Their Swedish blog HERE.

Visingsö

As I said in my previous post, I spent last week with my boyfriend´s family. They live in a city called Jönköping. On Saturday we headed to an island called Visingsö and once there we ¨rented¨ bikes and rode all along the island. I say ¨rented¨ because the bicycles were in a place where people could just walk in, pick a bike and leave without paying. There wasn´t even anyone looking after the bikes either. I guess those are the wonders of Sweden :)

My week / Mi semana

Sorry for not writing in so long! For some reason I can´t access my blog from my laptop, so now I´m writing from my boyfriend´s.

Anyways, 2 of my more than 20 cousins came to visit me from Spain. We had a GREAT time! I will post pics later. Right now I´m at my in-laws spending Easter holidays. Yesterday the whole family drove to some island and there we ¨rented¨ bikes and rode along a HUGE lake and had a picnic there. Pics later too :)  I have spend today watching the Millennium trilogy which, as you may know, is Swedish. I had tried to watch it before, but it was always in Swedish and my Swedish wasn´t that good at the moment. Now I´m watching it with subtitles and I really like it. You should check it out! Film 1 ¨The girl with the dragon tattoo¨. Film 2 ¨The girl who played with fire¨. Film 3 ¨The girl who kicked the hornet´s nest¨.

And a nice video to finish the week. ¨Jag kommer (I´m coming) by Swedish singer Veronica Maggio :)

__________

Si no las has visto, deberías!

Viola

I made and sold a new tote. The person who bought it is a viola player and asked me to paint a viola on it (a viola looks like a violin but bigger). The tote has a very nice and elegant black cotton lining and one inner pocket. This is the tote and its beautiful new owner :)
