Eurovision 2012.

The contest to select the Swedish representative for Eurovision is called Melodifestivalen in Sweden. This year, this song was runner up (Amazing, by Danny Saucedo). But I liked it more than the winning song. Do you like it?

El concurso para decidir qué canción representará a Suecia en el Eurovisión, se llama Melodifestivalen en el escadinavo país. La siguiente canción quedó en el segundo lugar este anno, pero a mí me gustó más que la ganadora. Te gusta?

My dear friend Alyona came over today and introduced me to some Russian songs... Oh bozhe, I love all things Russian!!! I couldn´t make up my mind about my favorite song of the bunch, so I bring you two, both by the same singer: Mihej. I love his voice and the melody of his songs. The mix of sad voice and somewhat happy beat is great.  Do you guys agree?

My querida amiga Alyona vino a visitarme hoy y, entre otras cosas, me mostró cantidad de canciones rusas. A mí me ENCANTA todo lo ruso!!! Por eso me fue difícil escoger una canción preferida, pero aquí les traigo DOS del mismo cantante: Mihej. Su voz me encanta y la melodía de las canciones también. La mezcla de una voz triste y un ritmo medio alegre me parece fantástica. Están de acuerdo???

I was in Cuba for Christmas, New Year and even my birthday (January 7th). Because I was living in China for 5 years and now 3 years in Sweden, I had not had the chance to spend any of those dates with my family in the last 8 years. So it was lots of fun this time! (Below, pics from my birthday. I had 2 delicious cakes!)

Estuve en Cuba para Navidad, Fin de Anno, e incluso para mi cumple... Como había estado viviendo en China durante 5 annos, y ahora 3 annos en Suecia, llevaba 8 annos sin festejar ninguna de esas fechas con mi familia. Se imaginarán la alegría!
